This is our source for truly raw almonds http://www.livingnutz.com/

THE COOKING PROCESS KILLS THE FOODS BY ELIMINATING THE ENZYMES, STARTS KILLING THE PHYTONUTRIENTS, KILLS 70% OF THE VITAMINS AND CONVERTS PROTEINS, FATS, And MINERALS TO A FORM THE BODY CANNOT USE.

We use raw organic pasture raised eggs in all the smoothies we make. Then choose either the raw organic almonds, hemp seeds or avocado in addition to the raw egg. Depending on how much protein we want we may even use a combination of these three.

  • Thank you, the children do enjoy the smoothie too. We have a smoothie for breakfast every morning after we have had our veggie juice. My eldest son makes the smoothie for the rest of the family and we hope to make a video of him soon. We look forward to sharing much more.

  • @Koson100 organic food is different from an organic compound.

In 1939, Lord Northbourne coined the term organic farming in his book Look to the Land (1940), out of his conception of "the farm as organism", to describe a holistic, ecologically-balanced approach to farming—in contrast to what he called chemical farming, which relied on "imported fertility" and "cannot be self-sufficient nor an organic whole".[3] This is different from the scientific use of the term "organic"

  • That blender you have, if you check the recycle number on the lid you will find that it contains BPA. Research the dangers of BPA if you don't know about it because it can harm you and your family. BPA is an estrogen mimicing plastic. It is represented by the number 7, when you wash the lid in hot water or in a dishwasher it can release the plastic onto other dishes.

  • Hey what do you think about food combining? It does not seem to be part of your lifestyle. I guess I'm wondering if you've ever heard of it or tried it or whether you think its something worthwhile?

  • the seeds have the majority of the nutrition and with my blender it breaks it down so I can get the nutrition that it has cause by chewing it you can't get it, using the whole fruit is best casue you get fiber and proper digestion, your kids are beautiful, wonder what the girls hair would look like if you didn't cut it with all that good nutrition being fed to them

Your comment is fallacious and relies on the ambiguity of the term 'organic'. Organic foods are superior to inorganic foods because they do not contain pesticides (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides) derived from synthetic chemicals, artificial hormones, artificial antibiotics, and genetic modification. Organic food is more pure and contains less contaminants. You are talking about a completely different meaning of organic, and that is not an argument.

  • The whole time i was watching this, I was thinking; what a health freak ! Just make the smoothie already.

  • LOOK AT 1:48, YOUR KID FELL ON HIS ASS!!! haha

  • yes, we make sure to buy organic pasture raised eggs. The cage free term is used very loosely and really doesn't mean anything to me.

  • is this easy to digest? I have a weak digestive system so I adhere to food combining rules for the most part. The smoothie looks delicious!
