http://www.hereforthebeer.com visits one of Vermont's newest craft beer bars, the Three Penny Tap Room in the state's capital city of Montpelier. The smallest state capital (and only state capital without a McDonalds) is the perfect place to celebrate small and local craft beer as well as local food. Three Penny doesn't disappoint.

@sofcuties thanks sofcuties.I am back in montpelier, finally away from that crap-shack state AZ, where the racism flows like the mead in Valhalla... very unfortunate and stupid.So great to be back in my hometown... took a walk down main street yesterday, just to appreciate what I had before moving away. Have yet to go to three penny, but just may do so this weekend before going back to AZ.I remember damsels though i never shopped there and I used to buy my fishing license every year at miller

Why did I ever move from montpelier to Arizona? We needed this years back. Does anyone know which store was there before the Three Penny Taproom. I know this is located a few feet from Yankee Spirits on Main Street. Also, if anyone goes to Montpelier who is not familiar with it, look at the sign behind the woman at the beginning. You should definitely give McGillicuddy's a try. Wicked good pub food and main courses, and an excellent selection of beer and liquor (prices are not bad for a bar)

They have Southern Tier Unearthly on tap - FTW!!
If I'm ever in Montpelier I'll check this place out!
