WTC Building #7, a 47-story high-rise not hit by an airplane, exhibits all the characteristics of classic controlled demolition with explosives: (and some non-standard characteristics)

1. Rapid onset of collapse

2. Sounds of explosions at ground floor - a full second prior to collapse

3. Symmetrical collapse through the path of greatest resistance at free-fall acceleration

4. Imploded, collapsing completely, and landed mostly in its own footprint

5. Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic dust clouds

6. Several tons of molten metal reported by numerous highly-qualified witnesses

7. Chemical signature of Thermite (high tech incendiary) found in solidified molten metal, and dust samples by physics professor Steven Jones, PhD.

8. FEMA finds rapid oxidation and intergranular melting on structural steel samples

9. Expert corroboration from the top European Controlled Demolition professional

10. Fore-knowledge of collapse by media, NYPD, FDNY

And exhibited none of the characteristics of destruction by fire, i.e.

1. Slow onset with large visible deformations

2. Asymmetrical collapse which follows the path of least resistance (laws of conservation of momentum would cause a falling, to the side most damaged by the fires)

3. Evidence of fire temperatures capable of softening steel

4. High-rise buildings with much larger, hotter, and longer lasting fires have never collapsed.

There was a lot of wood, paper, plastic and fabric inside the building.

Humans have been melting iron with wood since before the fall of Rome. I don't know why you insist that it had to be thermite or jet fuel.

Go research how we used to smelt and forge iron. It will tell you a lot more about how this can be done.

@nivarion I never claimed jet fuel could melt metal. The hotest possible hydrocarbon fire in normal atmosphere is your gas range. This does not melt the grate or pan. I researched it years ago. To melt metal you need: 1) continual fuel 2) forced air 3) an insulated box 4) time None of these conditions were present on 9/11. see: watch?v=VvQDFV1HINw Both unreacted and reacted nanothermite residue was in the WTC dust. Molten iron is a product of thermite reaction.

@ricthuse A blast furnace has large amounts of fuel with no oxygen present being heated by fuel that has it. When you expose the the fuel to oxygen, it ignites and melts the iron very quickly.

on 9/11 we had; Fuel and steel entrapped in concrete, fuel that was trapped in concrete but receiving oxygen, and about 8 weeks of time. Every time they exposed fuel at flash point they noticed smoke, and then found molten or near molten steel. There is little wonder it resembled a foundry, it nearly was

@nivarion A blast furnace has forced air, (which includes oxygen). The fuels used in a blast furnace do not supply their own oxygen. The debris was in a pile AND under a virtual lake of water created by the firefighters. The thermite was burning at a temperature hundreds of degrees higher than any jet fuel or office furnishings can possibly create, as documented by NASA overhead infrared imagery of the debris piles.

@ricthuse However, the thermite and thermate, and nano thermite reactions have obvious hindrances to their being the cause of the WTC collapse.

First, they act as a liquid when reacting. Since they are hot enough to melt steel and shatter concrete, its very difficult to make them cut a vertical beam.

Also, we have to deal with the weight. For a thermite reaction to last weeks, you'd need on order of thousands of tons of it.

Nano thermite is still in its experimental stages.

@nivarion Copper cutting guides exist which are used with thermite, which self-consume in the process of cutting. The resulting heat of the burning/smoldering thermite remained for weeks. NASA overhead infrared imagery documented the heat. Nanothermite was present in both reacted and UNREACTED condition in the WTC debris. We have electron microscope images of the nanothemite that was in the WTC dust.

Based on the mass of the iron-rich spheres (reacted themite residue) found in a sample of the dust found in a nearby apartment, Steven Jones estimated that about .04 percent of the dust was "iron-rich spherule," which would be "of the order of ten tons." This gives us some idea of how much Thermite was in the twin towers.

NIST never tested the dust for ANY explosives residue. This violates fire investigation standards, and is a criminal cover-up.

@nivarion Thats a controlled burn. Huge difference. When you use wood to make a furnace you are carefully controlling the oxygen and fuel supply. The towers were an UNCONTROLLED burn. Not to mention the buildings strict safety standards. No highly combustible or explosive materials were allowed. The fire shutters worked and cut off the vast majority of oxygen to the fires. The thick black smoke is a clear sign of an oxygen starved, low heat fire. You need to do research before you preach BS.

Reacted thermite residue and unreacted thermite are in the WTC dust. This is high tech nanothermite. The iron-oxide grains are seen faceted and the aluminum grains are seen disc shaped at 50K magnification. Highly explosive.
