Really interesting experiment! I assume all these kids are siblings- it's interesting how the 5 year old's answers to the questions are more 'grown up' than the 7 year old's. You do need to be careful how you word your questions though, and keep it consistent for all participants. E.g. saying 'Which cup has more water?' is a different question from 'Which cup holds more water?'

Sometimes your questions were a bit loaded and didn't offer all the options, but still really good.
