  • Download this show and other Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, Legion Of Mary, Garcia & Saunders, Garcia/Kahn, Robert Hunter shows from my blog, you can find a link to it on my channel.

  • the guy that posted this seems to be confusing, but why am I the only one that says so? He said that he just called it the dead so more people would watch it? Then, he says its actually a Phil and Friends show (from 1994... !!) And just to top it all off, that is of course Jerry, not dead, but playing acoustic guitar as usual on this version. I know Phil had friends in '94, but his only band was The Dead. Actually this sounds close to the album studio version to me.

  • @malady71 It was billed as a Phil And Friends Show (Jerry, Bob, Phil, Vince), basically a Dead show. More people would be inclined to watch the video if it said the Dead rather than P&F. Just making it easier for people to find and download.

  • Where in Berkley was this show? I went to their last shows at the Berkley Comm. Center for 6 shows in... '84? I flew there from Maine. My first time to CA. Bought my first car for $600, a '63 VW Van and after the 6 shows I drove down to Santa Cruz with a beautiful deadhead and when my engine ceased she left me! sob. I saw her at other shows later however and we remained friends. The van made it to Tucson and broke down there. I ended up living there for 10 years.....

  • Johnny-you're totally right. I never would have looked at or enjoyed many times these posts if billed as P& F, and never The Dead. Deceitful, but your thinking was right.

  • @hghgfgh1 thats sweet!my name is casey wonder where they got that lol

  • i was named after this song !

  • I guess when I saw them there in '84 it wasn't the last show afterall. It is amazing they could have booked this in '94 w/ all the popularity they experienced at that time. Oh, they were billed as Phil and Friends, that's how they did it. Cool.

    420 shows? Damn. Which one was your favorite?

  • @malady71 this show was promoted as A Phil and Friends show If it was a Grateful Dead show it would have had Billy & Micky in the line up

  • @MayorMichaelShell It was at the Berkley community Center

  • My name is Cassidy. :)

  • @username666username I can relate, Ive heard this song for years ever since i can remember. I'll always have a great love for this song, everytime I heard it makes me think of being suupper young & my dad singing this so me. They were HUGE dead heads,My first concert was Grateful Dead I was 2 months old(;

  • Call it whatever you want, just call it great!!

  • @malady71 He seems to be making perfect sense to me, I can verify this is a "Phil Lesh and Friends" show. He titled it as the dead because it is essentially the dead, all the MAIN members (Jerry,Bob,Vince, and Phil) are present and it's more accessible that want to hear an actual real version of Cassidy played by the boys.
