stall?

@LILOCHITA As you say mate. The way I was taught, ears then bar, and bar off, release ears. Maybe someone got it the wrong way around, of perhaps met some really shitty air?
-
@bobflyman contrariwise, speed bar reduces the angle of attack and increases risk of frontal collapse
but usually it's safe to push it with ears in cause ears increases angle
and recommended order is ears then bar, release in reverse order
may be attempt to make ears with speed bar pushed + turbulent air? hard to say exactly

It's recommended to use speed bar when you have ears in, to imnprove the angle of attack of the wing. That might have helped?

@jetaddicted just buy a new DHV / LTF-1 wing and don't fly when there is more than 10kmh of wind and it will not happen ever
-
@jetaddicted to me there is only one answer - pull your rescue

@lovehorrordotde the most cleverest comment here! thumb up.

It happened to me once - a frontal with big ears tucked in - but it was high at cloud base with strong turbulence around. This low... no, thank you very much.

@jetaddicted . Lol , thats what I keep telling myself.

i'm a beginner, so i'll ask a student question: shouldn't he try to slow his wing's exteriors?
i mean, maybe the best would be to try to get those ears again, in the hope of allowing air to flow again in the center boxes...
i'm sure some of you will pretty soon make me look dumb for having such a thought ;)
I've never seen a collapse on a wing with the tips already folded in, that's not supposed to happen. What was the wing please?

I found that video on internet, so I can´t tell you something about that situation... good luck!
