Belle is currently off the sale list (much to my joy!), but I want to keep this up to share with freinds and in case she needs a showcase again.

For sale Doubletrees Easter Belle at her fist horse trial at Lake Oswego Hunt club summer 2008. Belle is a 1992 16.2 registered saddlebred mare. Had 2 foals with previous owner/s. She has been my mount for the last couple years, but her owner is getting out of breeding and lessons and she is so very sadly for sale. I hope to help find her a loving home. We have both come so far in a relatively short time. My last dressage lesson with Michelle Binder of Relational Riding Academy had her shouting, "You've done it!" She is the kindest, most generous horse I have ever had the pleasure to ride. See how kind she is to me as we are just getting back to jumping - she is way ahead of me!

And yes, I stopped riding and we dropped that last rail, but you can see before that - she's great and works much higher. She's even offered to jump out of the arena before she understood that was *not* the last fence : )

  • This is her and Michael is the same fellow. He is reducing his herd and not teaching riding so much anymore. She was his favorite saddle horse, but mostly it is just me riding her right now. She is the the sweetest thing ever. I will miss her very much, but since I can't take her, I am looking like mad to find her a nice person to love her. Eek! Teary! As you can see, she is s well saddle horse, so if you know a nice candidate, bring it on.

  • Is this the same horse then? Its driving me crazy! Best of luck on selling her! Did you come out of oregon? where is she now?

  • Yes, as I said, "this is her." She is still with Michael Wakefield who drives the Welles Fargo hitch, but he never did train her to drive. She is in Scappoose , OR - I just saw her today. I am in Portland.

  • Sorry I missed that part. Thats exciteing to see her again. Im glad shes getting used and looks cute too!

  • I think I use to own this horse.. I have no idea if its the same mare. But she was a chestnut white markings on her face and had the reg. name doubletrees easter (somthing) can't remember the rest of it. We are in oregon, sold her to a guy who was going to break her to drive for the wells fargo team. I'd love to know if this is the same horse!!
