Ready, Set, SuGO. Sumo wrestling with LEGO Mindstorms

SuGO is all about Sumo Wrestling robots made using LEGO MINDSTORMS. Developed by Phil Malone at GEARS Inc. (a 501(c)(3) robotics center in McHenry Maryland USA), SUGO is a rapid immersion program where kids in grades 3 to 12 are given a robotics challenge which is easy to learn but difficult to master. SuGO can be run as a "hosted build and compete" process, or as a "bring and play" event. SuGO is compact and transportable so it can be taken on the road for after-school workshops and is an ideal fundraising mechanism for technology clubs looking to increase enrollment and leadership training.
