UH-1B Scale Huey

Some guy in Canada is listing this Heli under the description of Scale Huey (or similar) on eBay and eBay.co.uk (and probably other sites). The listing is FRAUDULENT! It is an exact rip-off of the ad from which I originally purchased this bird in 07. They have posted the fradulent listing twice (that I know of) and will continue to do so until eBay busts them. eBay has been notified twice and to the best of my knowledge - has done nothing to protect the public from this scammer. This Huey is not for sale. Be warned.

The best place to start is VARIO. If you are in the US Google East Coast VARIO and give them a shout. You can get a Huey Fuse, mechanics, and all the scale details - but it will be pricey. Then again, they way I look at it, every hobby is pricey. A good mountain bike runs $1.5K and a small fishing boat is $15K.

LOL. I hear ya. Posted for some friends who wanted to see the spool-up. Set in a garage for 12 months. In the process of upgrading from NiMh to Lipo and don't trust the batts (3 sets of 2-30 cell packs) due to age. When she's dialed in again I will definitely post some "action" videos.

Anyhow, it's a sweet bird and no one is in more of a hurry to get this thing flying again than me.
