The City University's new Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre opened last week. It's aim? To promote the interplay of art and technology. The nine-storey complex was designed by architect Daniel Libeskind, who in 2003 won the competition to be the master plan architect for the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan. We spoke to him, to the school's dean, and to Japanese saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu at the opening.
