Harper received under 40% of the popular vote. That's not exactly a genuine majority. Our electoral system gives false majorities. Every time.

Harper is a terrible prime minster yes that's true! But it's too bad that those abortion supporters showed up. I don't think they were actually a real group I believe they were sent out there by the Harper government to make Steven look good and all the other protesters look bad! Where were the anti-war groups? or the anti-nuclear groups? These are real issues not abortion!

Harper is a dictator the faster you get rid of him the better will be for you , I do not vote for anyone and I do not believe in democracy , but I am old enough to know that Harper is like Berlusconi in Italy he will transform Canada into his private property just like a mafia boss , there are now voices circulating that he killed the ex NDP leader

I wish I had seen this video earlier, but it's still great nonetheless. I'm still not over the results, which were like one big fucking joke. I'm all for radical reform. Otherwise, I'm moving to Sweden because really, Canada is going down the drain at this rate.

@jaba987 and it was the Liberals, specifically Paul Martin who DID NOT deregulate the financial system in Canada. The Conservatives were pushing for it but Martin fought it. Thanks to Paul Martin we did NOT experience the financial crisis that the US and other European countries did!! Get you're facts straight! Misinformation seems the be the most powerful tool coming out of the right...

Funny how Harper and his Conservatives received a majority mandate by the people when he "doesn't speak for us". Obviously the majority of Canadians think that Harper has done a great job leading this country! Thank God we have another 4 years under is leadership to keep Canada strong and prosperous
