Brett Favre has reportedly told some teammates and Minnesota Viking personal via text, that he has decided to retire and not return for his 20th NFL season...

It is so infuriating that Favre is conducting his business through text message like a twelve year-old girl? You are an NFL legend, pick up the phone and call someone. Although I am kind of interested to know if Favre has a touch screen phone or one with a full size keyboard?

Oh, and if you think he is staying retired you're an idiot. I personally want him to come back. Why? Because he is currently stuck in football hell. For the past three season, every season has ended with a Favre interception. But he is a great regular season quarterback, so Favre and Peyton Manning should get together and talk about their great accomplishments when it didn't really matter. But Alex, they each won a Super Bowl. Yeah, they did, but they definitely weren't the ones who were directly responsible for those victories. Go Back and watch the game!

Can ESPN stop it with these Sportscenter Specials for Favre too? This story broke in the late morning, by 3:30 there was a Favre special. And if one more anchor talks about his boyish joy from the game, I'm going to vomit.

@bbender1986 How do I not know what I'm talking about. Just about every prediction that I've made on the show as come true. Brett Favre didn't stay retired. Favre has Desmond Howard to thank for his Super Bowl victory. I can think of four seasons that have ended because of a DUMB Favre pick. Is the guy a legend, sure.
