Did you count up to 9 beats in the first bar?
Shouldn(t we start with a Gamba in tge left hand?
I actually like the out-of-timeness of the right hand (it's in the nature of an arabesque).
It's too slow for 1/4 = 72.
Adagio = "à l'aise" for Frenchmen.

Mechanical swell pedal open in such a way that the first crack adds as much power as the next half opening! More gradual control is needed. (Listen to the effect you produce, Pietro).
