Best cover I've heard on it so far. Early Trad with grunted vocals. Not a bad combo.

@MrMalf Both ascendancy and ember to inferno are awesome. The Crusade a little weaker but an ok album, and Shogun is a masterpiece.

Have to say I wasnt expecting much here but I think the singer here does Di'anno justice. Nice, heavy, a bit gutteral but thats ok. Early Maiden was the best Maiden IMO and always sounded a bit heavier than everything after it. Great job? No. Good job and would I listen to it again? Yep...already have.

@sguitar1442 couldn't agree more. Why has this lame bassy scream become "metal" now a days. What happened to real creative metal? Sure some guys scream and sing but its in every damn song. Give it a rest already.

Best cover on this tribute album by a HUGE margin. The other cover songs (with exception of about 1 or 2 others), on this album fucking blow. They were completely and utterly butchered.
