This song was written and recorded more than fifteen years before hurricane Katrina ever happened and it's one of their biggest hits, so don't expect them to stop playing it.

The song is about a nuclear submarine called "New Orleans" sinking... nothing to do with the actual city. I sure hope they keep playing it: it's an important message that is unfortunately going to remain relevant for a long time.
