Huliganov's "Smoke gets in your eyes"

Viktor D. Huliganov has had a platter full of smoking in restaurants, and so revives the old 50s protest song against cigarettes, "Smoke gets in your eyes".

Since then, it seems to me that the lyrics to this song could be changed just slightly to make it stay on message without veering off into irrelevancies as the original, I am sorry to say, does.

I propose the following new version, unfortunately after actually having sung the old one:

They asked me how I knew
Smoke's not bad for you
I of course replied
"Something deep inside
Cannot be deep fried"

They said "someday you'll find
all who smoke are blind
When your tab's on fire,
you must understand
smoke gets in your lungs"

So I chaffed them and I gaily laughed
To thing they could doubt my love
But today, my lungs have gone astray
And I am without my lungs

Now laughing friends deride
Tears I cannot hide
So I smile and say
As the tumors arise
Smoke gets in your eyes.

It's simple. IF someone lights up in a restaurant next to you just walk over to them and rip out a big fart. When they complain just tell them they started it but at least your fart won't cause cancer.
