Dr. William Ashley, a neurosurgeon, talks about the conditions and events that he treats, including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, carotid disease and stroke. He uses both open and endovascular surgery as well as radiosurgery to treat these conditions. Often patients are referred to Dr. Ashley when tests show that the headaches they were feeling were a symptom of a serious condition. Currently he is involved in research that focuses on aneurysms - who develops them and who is likely to experience a rupture.
