A short film a few buddies of mine and I made showing off the scenery of Panther Beach in Santa Cruz, CA. We wanted to make an edit using similar cameras and see if they worked well together. This edit is composed of both Canon 5D Mark II footage and Panasonic HVX 35mm adapter footage. Slight color grading was done but mostly just to add more contrast.

Equipment:
Canon 5D Mark II
Canon EF 16-35mm 2.8 L II
Nikkor ED 80-200mm 2.8 D
Canon EF 50mm 1.4
Nikkor AF Micro 60mm 2.8 D

Panasonic HVX200
Letus Extreme

ProAm 12' Crane
Indifocus Slider
Bogen 501 Tripod

  • this is a great video. i was wondering if you could let me know which Indifocus Slider you are using? cause i would like to buy one.

  • @agipy5 I'm using the one that's about $300. Really solid piece of equipment. The resistance knobs is how I achieve smooth movement. Probably on of my most used toys other than my camera.

  • this is fukin mind blowin bro

    -ps im high as shit

  • @jaypizee so hyped

  • i dont know you but you're my hero

  • @paulajung Haha much appreciated. Most of these films are products of my boredom.

  • Just subscribed....love this work because it is something I have been wanting to do for years. Now that I just bought the 5d Mark II I can't wait to pick up a few pointers from you guys. I will be using it for underwater photography on my trip to South Pacific next year.

    Keep up the excellent work,

    The Meltdownman

  • Great vid, love especially the crane movements at the cliff and the railroad track, very subtle.
