  • Thanks I learned more from you on my computer then a lady who suppose to teach us self defence for women...

  • @1967aleksandra - I'm glad you found the clip instructional. For basic self-defense, my Streetfighting Essentials made through Paladin Press is a great buy. For joint locks, the Lock On series with Aiki Productions, which this clip is from, is the way to go. With all my DVDs, my main goal is to teach so people can learn. Thanks again - Alain

  • ouch !

  • Yep, they hurt if you do them right. :-) That's why we say in Hapkido it is better to give than receive. Yours in Training - Alain

  • wow

  • Thanks! I'm glad you like the clip. It's just one of the locks I teach in the Lock On DVDs. My goal is always to teach so people can get a training partner and learn something. Yours in training - Alain

  • Impressive!

  • Exactly, and the kotegaeshi from behind it's more effective because your partner can't counter the move, in the version of front, your partner can counter with another Kotegaeshi, a Sutemi Waza or a Kick Also =)
