Just watch the same scene in tamil (w w w. y o u t u b e. c o m/watch?v=ul9Xvjt83eI&feature=­related)... its fully close up for both Kamal and sivaji... this scene they are not showing Anil in close up as he cannot bring out the emotions. But Amrish has done a good job. btw, Ilaiyaraja's music in tamil has taken it to another level.

Thank god it was accepted in Bollywood...btw this movie is no where near the performances in Tamil...leave alone AK, Om done by Kamal & Shivaji....check out the acting of Surkiya equivalent in tamil...performed by Humse Hai Muqabala comedian...

@deepak1634 dude it was a remake of the 4 time national award winner kamal hassen starrer tamil movie. The father's character was done by famous shivaji ganesan in tamil who was honoured by governments of france and egypt for his acting brilliance. Haml haasan, though has the most no. of national awards in acting, still feels he is nowhere compared to shivaji ganesan in acting

i like how the father said that he wanted his son to study so that he could teach everyone how to live.

this is dialouge is a good example of indian politics, all illiterate people are in the government ruling the country, and all the well educated people only think about themselves, while complaining and letting all illiterate people run the nation
