  • Oh! I just noticed that you can see the pollen sacs on the bees' legs. Very cool! I wonder what hummingbird food honey would taste like?

  • It would be interesting to find out.lol I love honey on my biscuits. The bees are welcome to eat here as well. They're pollenators and help grow the food we eat too.

    Great eye! Thanks for watching.:)

  • Very nice shots of the birds and bees, thanks.

  • thanks. hmm... I should have thought of that that's pretty much how I kill mold everywhere else....

  • If you want to kill the mold you can flush the feeder with a 10:1 water/bleach ratio. The mold will die, and should flush off with water. Then just let it dry for the bleach to evaporate before filling.

  • Maybe. But, if you look closely at my windows you'll see lots of doggy nose prints and other crud.lol

These birds are very shy, keep trying!

  • sweet. I can't even get a good snapshot of them because they are so skittish.... maybe if I cleaned the window, huh?

  • I had a couple orioles visit my feeders nthis winter. Rare for this area! I'll post the video soon.

  • OK, thanks. I think I'll do that today. the orioles will be pleased too!

  • LOL! They'll forgive you if you give them some fresh food.:) They don't mind the mold however, I've had the same problem.:p
