Excellent gameplay. Tenchu has always been about getting the greatest ninja experience possible: You have all the realism of ninjas that CANNOT fly, destroy walls with a single blow or walk on water, BUT it's still faithful to ninja lore, with some technique scrolls, "magic" powers and the like.

You get the realistic tools and feel, with some of the fantasy for added spice. It's the perfect mix between reality and fiction. I personally like how the gameplay gives you the ninja's perspective.

tenchu Z graphics sucked . They should make a new tenchu with rikimaru and ayame for ps3\360 and with graphics like re5 or mgs4 .

@shawtyloh i like all the tenchu game & the idea to play a student is pretty cool though i expected to be better i just didn't like this one cause it felt weak & the combat looks boring & easy making it less punishing to be spotted btw i thought the bosses in fatal shadow are pretty weak one of them is just 3 regular enemies & there a cool boss that you don't actually kill he just pawns you & that's it he dies at the end ( ayame's last boss i think ) woh has some cool bosses

@TheBladex2d n just because you love with tenchu 2 doesn't mean your better then people who like the newer games some people like to play old games others don't i had fun with tenchu 2 when i was 10 but if id play it now i would get eye cancer plus the story is getting old

@TheBladex2d and tenchu finally needs really good graphic n engin better so that those graphic whores finally shut up i know i could make the best tenchu game in this galaxy but im no rich game developer or whatever too bad

@TheBladex2d u just want a hero to look up too X) naw rikimaru is cool but i think he's old as fck now i played tenchu 1 2 3 4 and Z and i think it was not bad to play as rikimarus students* thats actually something refreshing and new cus they started ruining the story i think Z ore "senran" is a good game it could've been better if it would have better boss fights like "fatal shadows" ore tenchu 3 then the game would be perfect

@ShadowWhiteHawk i just hope they bring back mission editor thats the best part in tenchu 2 & i also hope they make combat system like in the first 2

@shawtyloh thats like saying ryu from ninja gaiden or solid snake from metal gear gay . a star is a star and rikimaru is the star of the tenchu franchise

i hate this & z i hate this because of the combat sucks , only one story mode ( i prefer choosing character story) & the new character design looks retarded
