One of the earliest attempts to bridge the gap between art and games, Automata's Deus Ex Machina details the life and death of a artificially created lifeform. With a soundtrack streamed off tape and featuring several celebrities, this is worth a look! The videos have been split into several sections to meet with Youtube's 10-minute limit.
As an 8 year old I used to try to 'play' this game and we had no sound so I was completely baffled. It makes a little more sense now just under 30 years later!

The saxophone in the back makes me wonder if the Blockheads had any part in this stage, along with Ian Dury.

It's nice to also see the spectrum version. All I saw was a the C64 lets play... Too bad the sync seems to be a little wonky on this one :(

The green square is the player. The blue square is the Defect Police. Keep the green square away from the blue square.

Because I never played the game, what are the two coloured squares for? Love this music!
