Hell! Even Shawn had to job to Hogan when Shawn didn't want to. And this is HBK we're talking about. If HE couldn't get the storyline changed, what chance does a midcard guy have? Everyone remember the match between he and Hogan where he oversold like hell because he was mad at what Hogan had demanded the storyline/match be? Why didn't Shawn go to creative then and get it changed since all it takes is "initiative?" Because it has more to do with polictics, and no one knows that better than HBK.

Shawn is mistaken. Yes, I'm sure you can pour your heart out to creative about what you'd like to do, but they don't have to approve it. And what do you think will happen if a low/mid card guy goes in the ring and does something unscripted? They will fire him as soon as he gets backstage. Years ago Ms Jacqueline said "you give them great ideas for your character/story, they take those ideas & say "we love this, but not for you." They use your idea to push a top tier person & leave you @ midcard
