The question is how and why would a media outlet report something that has yet to occur? After 15 years in the media myself, as an air talent mind you AND in the news industry a couple of times, there's no way to make this kind of mistake. A typo is one thing. A crystal ball is another. Why would a bunch of conspirators leak info to the press about something that was going to happen early? Why not just let the media report the events as they happen?

I cannot justify a reason for giving this information out. Based on that alone I think this is just a freak accident.

It was an error, they screwed up in their plan. - Probably also so that people will waste rime debating it.

Sure, this happens all the time. The media thought we were fucking stupid!!!

Certain people on the ground new something was going down, leeks and radio messages were going around, even heard that there was a countdown.

It was an accident that the info got to BBC news; it was no accident that the info existed prior to the event happening. The news stations werent supposed to say anything about it, hence why after an hour of the events all the media outlets started sounding consistent and stopped reporting stuff like this.
