This was at my dance class about a week ago, it's my school's Prelim Treble Jig that I literally taught myself by watching actual Prelim dancers in my class dance. It was for an English report on Irish dancing and I felt like I did really well ^^. I know lot of steps that are way advanced for me, and they're really fun XD

  • I have those shorts too! : ) So is Rose your teacher? I'm down in San Diego and dance under Jeannie O'Connor and Alisa Garber for BFOC! Where are you located?

  • I'm in the North County location in San Diego :) Although I don't dance under Rose, I'm only all novice atm. I dance under Jeannie and Alisa too :)

  • hehehe! great job...although it looks alot like the prizewinner steps of other bfoc girls i compete againced! if corse mine is almost the same but a little diffrent:p i should post it:)

  • Most of the prizewinner girls in my class who know the step tend to do the step at feiseanna anyways, but it is technically a Prelim step ^^;

  • nice job-you have really nice sound-try to cross and turn out a little more and when you lift in back make sure your toe is pointed up-not dangling down.

  • Hey thanks, I often get compliments on my sound ^^

    And I'm still working on that crossover and turnout, those are the problems I'm really working hard on fixing. And I didn't notice my foot being all not-pointed--I'll work on that as well. Thank you!

  • You have excellent rhythm for preliminaries :D

  • i like that u taught this step to yourself

    i did the same thing, but i listened to the step on our practice CD and taught myself from that

  • Excellent timing and back trebles, just turn out a bit, other than that, really good.

  • ur really good for prelim

  • cross your feet hun and its perfect!

  • ur not suppose to put bfoc steps on the internet and that was like a beginer step not prelim srry!

  • ur no suppose to post videos of bfoc steps!

  • @JoeyN5454 this is NatalieRat144. Try as I might, I can't get access to the account these videos are posted on. Trust me, I would if I could, but I can't remember the password to the account nor do I remember the password to the email account it's linked to. If there's any way to get the account taken down, then please go ahead. I honestly cannot do anything.

    I'm not in prelim or prizewinner, I'm in novice. Also, I don't know better, as nobody has never told me I couldn't post steps online.

  • i would take this down ASAP. I can tell you go to BFOC because i used to have those same steps. and, like you, i once posted steps online. I got in SO MUCH TROUBLE. this was posted in january, so its been a while, and you might have been in trouble as it is, but i know BFOC (and most schools) have a VERY strict policy on posting steps online. Youre in prelim (or at least prizewinner), so you should know better. take it down now if you know whats good for you.

    sorry if thats mean. great dancing!
