Just breaks my heart how when a choir sings this "I Come I Come" sound like crying lamb... "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise." (Psalm 51:17)

@t2billy1 I think I unintenitonaly mislead you! I was caught up in a peer group back in the late 60's! The hard work started many years ago! Now I live my life in the knowledge that it is less important what others THINK of you but they should see Christ in me?

@Triumphcarnut What a nice thing to say. Thank you. I've loved the Lord all my life, but I wasn't Honest, Faithful or even Following Him many, many times. Each time I needed Him, He WAS there for me. The reason I went forward so many times, was I felt the need to do so & I didn't want Him to forget me. I was Baptized 3 times, then our Pastor said I was a "Child of God". In 1995 I felt I had to rededicated my life to the Lord & was Baptized AGAIN, as an Adult - Was AWESOME!!

Put "1969" in your comment and there I am too. He has been much more faithful to me since that time than I have to Him. He never changes and He is always there... what an amazing Saviour. Glory to him indeed.

What an awsome God. I came to Him just as I am. We dont have to clean ourself up first. Just as I am He accepted me and He did the cleaning. He deserves all the glory and honor. He saved a wreched sinner like me when I came just as I am.

I got caught up with peer group at school was afraid of being "different" I don't understand why completely. Now I have a new found faith brought about by the Holy spirit in the privacy of my own thoughts and life
