This video will visually show an example of Maxillary (Upper jaw) Impaction Surgery that is commonly used for Anterior Open Bite patients. About 9-12 months prior to surgery, a patient participates in braces treatment. Prior to surgery, the patient has surgical arch wires fabricated and placed to prepare for this Orthognathic Surgery (please see Surgical Arch Wire Fabrication Video for details). Post surgery, patient will complete orthodontic treatment within about 9-12 months.
