You started by saying it is a sunderland song and then say it is a washington song. Make your mind up. If it is Worm Hill Fatfield where the worm is supposed to have wrapped itself around then that would suggest the worm was caught in the wear in Lambton park, next to chester-le-street. Do remember that the age of this story pre-dates sunderland. And try not to swear. There's a good chap.

It's sad that with all the wonderful history up here all people can do is insult each other other football. This is a Wearside song. Sunderland was bairly a bairn when this came about. Most of the area now classed as Sunderland was County Durham.
