Thanks for putting this up. Germain Greer is dead wrong. This looks gorgeous - but it is hard to see the art with that constantly moving lens. Some still long shots would be appreciated. But again, thanks.
Video intentionally a fast-paced taster? Worked for me. Been there. Great (&was free) & got 'Edrica Huws Patchworks' book. Interesting, eg of EH extract:"One thing that drew me towards material is that of the intriguing possibilities in the juxtaposition of various textures and designs." Video certainly captures that.
Understand your viewpoint. I was trying to convey a feeling of the art and how one is drawn into the picture. That was the aim of the zoom. I will be making a fuller version with stills in the near future.
I look forward to seeing more! I wish the show were coming to California! I went on line to look for more information on Edrica Huws - putting her in Google turned up some interesting bio information.
