The 48 Laws of Power is a 1998 book by Robert Greene. The book shares thematic elements with Niccolò Machiavelli's The Prince and has been compared to Sun-Tzu's classic treatise The Art of War.

  • Wat is this song called

  • The 48 laws of being a AHOLE

  • @MrLovESouls 43 too. Possibly the song wasn't long enough to accommodate the extra two laws or he feels that they're unimportant.

  • i feel that this is a pretty good book, and if you have evil in your heart anything you read can be used for evil desires. if you have a kind heart and want better for yourself it can help you. its all about how you interpret things, if you first thoughts are always negative well then you can kinda figure out what type of person you are.

I understand your concern for teaching selfish and evil laws and how this book could make someone a "rotton person" but 48 laws was written for individuals who don't know anything about power. In the free market, you must compete for things: women, money, & authority. Thus, people who want to hold a prominent position in life need to know how deal with deception and other prominent people. If it's ANYONE'S intention to manipulate power then they should read The Prince, not 48 laws.

  • This book is a manual on how to be a rotten person. There are far better books on this topic. I hope nobody is followng this crap. I have been in positions of authority most of my adult life and these laws are selfish and evil.
