Wilco "I'm Always In Love"

I shot this video at Music Midtown in Atlanta in 1999.
I was (sadly) stationed at the corporate alternative rock stage for 99X shooting Kid Rock when I bailed to catch this great set by Wilco in what I think was the prime of their career. I got busted for not having the proper credentials, so at the end of the clip the camera gets bumped to the ceiling. Rock on.

have you ever been to a show and waited what seemed like an eternity for the band to come on? the stage crew / roadies checking and double checking everything, tuning guitars,

bringing out drinks etc. You'd think that at a huge show, after dicking about with every piece of gear forever, that the one thing that would certainly be working fine is the lead singer's microphone right? oh well, at least they corrected the problem fairly early on.
