School competition in 6th grade to build the strongest tower at least 12 inches high using 300 flat toothpicks and 3 oz wood glue. This design set a new school record supporting 190 pounds(US)!

  • what pattern did they use to build this?

  • The builders designed their own pattern, however the cross-section is triangular, with numerous cross braces.
