I can't believe guys are still argueing of mustangs vs camero's. Both are great cars, it just depends on your personal preferance, get the fuck over yourselves. The beauty of cars is getting to drive around in them and have a good time, but bitch and say whats better than the other you childish pricks. GT-500 is a beautiful mustang, camero SS has some great new style, I say unless you're mentally fucked in the head people should love them both.

@ZxMJKxZ Didn't know we were talking about averages..I could go out in a GT500 and run crap 18 second runs over and over and over again and hurt the average. the example of the 11.7 is from over a year ago..so yes when you posted that guys were running far better than mid 12's no nitrous on LS3 motor. Basically a s/c, cam, converter, cat back, and slicks can get you a 10.1..so if your opinion is that the GT500 has a better motor, tans, or suspension you're gunna need solid proof. I can't find it

@TheBulldawg4life thats on the extreme though. The average is no where near that. Not to mention that a year ago when I posted my comment mid 12s was as good as people got the ss. . it's like saying an 11 gt500 will run 11 flat on stickies only. 10s with bolt ons. I wouldn't mind owning either, both are nice cars. But the extra cash gets you a better motor, trans, suspension. It's all about what someone wants. 550hp+ and warranty or save 7k and get a blown mid range model without it...

@ZxMJKxZ The SS can run 12.5 stock with stock tires. Stickies, headers, CAI, and a tune get you to 11.7 and that doesn't total up close to the $17,000 price difference.

Low numbers considering the displacement be nice if GM could get the hp numbers closer to the CID. The Japanese are not as far ahead anymore when it comes to matched hp but the US still has catching up to do against Euro manufacturers. Too much power and not enough handling, ignoring customer feedback, have always been US car makers downfall in the global market. Someday maybe we'll see that same kind of balance but it will be from a minor car company not major player.
