The Word Of God? Part 1: What got in?

This is the first of several parts where we will look at what we know about the Bible and address the ideas that many have about it in regards to it being "The 100% inerrant word of God."

This series isn't necessarily intended to address the "truth" or "falsehood" of the Bible, but simply "Who wrote it?"

I mention several sources for things in the video, but if you want an easy source for the majority of it, I recommend Bart Erhman's "Misquoting Jesus."

Part 3: but it will not be due to atheist arguments. Simply put: Fanatics are not in for a discussion. They are missionaries. And so are you, albeit with better arguments. But the assertion of a belief rests not on once grounds for holding it (since most Christians are not aware nor do they have access to them). I think that most human are much more irrational than the romanticised picture Voltaire and the likes had of us. But: May truth prevail peacefully. Cheers:)

@Ewochable You are welcome to comment on my channel...HOWEVER...posting a long series of posts like you've done here makes it hard to follow. Keep your replies to 1-2 text boxes. If you can't do that, switch to either PM or video response. If you refuse to do either...post on someone else's channel. I will not fish through 274 posts to find all of yours and sort through which comes first, second, and so on. YouTube's comment section sucks too much for that.

A man that returned from the dead would have SURELY gotten written about WHEN it happened...not 30+ years later. Extraordinary claims REQUIRE extraordinary evidence and you have none. Give me the evidence for why you deny Zeus, Mohammad, Krishna, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Why do you not understand that we agree on the criteria for belief on every other religion there is EXCEPT YOURS?

I like the talking head part of the video. I really dislike the red text part of the video.

A lot of the text stuff is on the screen for too short a period of time and many of them use things like 'he' and 'it' and there is not identification of who/what is being referred to. Each statement shown in text should be able to stand on its own, minus the talking head. Just saying....
