  • Oh hello! Have you heard about - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some super things about it and my BF got ripped 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of belly fat with it.

  • hey hey! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my cooworker got hot 6 pack abs and lost a lot of weight with it.

  • Because Atkins Chocolate bars and shakes are " natural ". Ridiculous. I'll do Atkins when I save $10,000 to afford there products.

  • This video does not say what happens to excess animal fat that we eat. Barry Groves wrote that excess fat is excreted. It does not run to your thighs.

This video is mostly just an advertisement for Atkins products.

You don't need any of those over priced, low carb, specialty products to enjoy a low carb diet. You can go to the farmers markets and buy reasonably priced, organic veggies and sometimes meats, and buy the cheaper meats (nitrate free ones!) at the health food stores.T

  • Alphacause, you don't always have to buy the priciest meat. I can get 1 pound of nitrate free bacon pieces for $3 at one of the health food stores. Local eggs are $3 a dozen.

Give up Starbucks, soda, pizza, fast food, movie popcorn, vending machine snacks, breakfast cereal and the rest of the junk food. That's a lot of savings.

You also have to factor in medical cost of being fat and sick. How much is that worth? How much is being slim and full of energy worth?

  • @LuniaVideo

Its funny how people get worked up over these nutrition facts. Anyway, i don't think you read my question right. I know meat is good for you. Really I do What I was asking was, how can eating foods with lots of fat like mayo, full fat cheese, milk, bacon, butter, unrestricted, like the diet says, be good for you, even when eating low carbohydrates. Thats is what I dont get. Plus won't you be tired off a low carb diet or at least more tired than off one. Just asking.

  • @tvver Because carbs ALSO turn into fat.

Your body can only store about 300 grams of carbohydrates in the liver and muscle before it turns into fat.

There's nothing wrong with eating meat. Do you honestly believe that a food humans EVOLVED to eat is bad for them? Find me a lion with diabetes. Low-carb diets don't restrict meat or dairy or mayo. I think you may be confused. Low-carb places no restriction on fat content generally as long as you don't go over your BMR worth of calories.

  • I have a question I'm not attacking just trying to understand better so please dont attack me. How can the low carbohydrate diet work if you are taking in fat. I know some fat is good and you are not just supposed to eat all the fat you want, but still isn't eating fatty food like mayo, full fat dairy, fatty meats etc overall bad for you, And if it is not, then why do the low fat diets strictly prohibit them. I know this is not answer forum, but the info i've read hasn't helped me understand it

  • yeah...that's the big thing with me for Paleo...who can afford $6 lb hamburger these days. Gotta make do with what you can afford....the one thing just about everyone from vegan to paleo can agree on is that sugar and processed foods are bad....well..some vegans probably eat processed foods because they're deprived of the joys of meat :)

  • @EDECO79 Paleo is also cost prohibitive, since a strict application of the Paleo diet emphasizes things like grass fed beef, free range chicken and pork, as well as wild caught fish. These items are far more expensive than you regular grain fed beef, cage raised chicken and pork, and farm raised fish. Though there is a lot of agreement between Atkins and Paleo dietary guidelines, concerning carb restriction, Paleo is less accessible, in its orthodox application, because it is so expensive.
