I studied electronics at the RWTH in the nineties. I found the quality of most lectures very poor. Most professors were very good scientists, some were good businessman also. But almost none was capable or willing to take care of good lectures or teaching. Most of my fellow student were just glad to get over with it, and would not do it again or advice someone to go there. In the nineties "Aachen" was only a researchcenter with some "annoying" students around... Greetings, Dipl.-Ing. J-P Wagner.

Maybe.. I have absolutely no Idea as I was a kid then :)... But I am here right now and it is really hard to find what u say...
They have made huge changes and the proff takes great care in trying to conduct the lectures themselves...
Also u may not know this... Germany has the systel of grading universities elite... Thats equivalent to IVY-League colleges in USA.... Well RWTH Aachen is one of the very few elite universities in Germany...
