Connor Spahn and Bryan Pivnick perform "If You Could See Her" together from Freehold Boro High School's production of Cabaret. Connor plays the Emcee and Bryan plays the female gorilla. The song is a comical satire of the relationship between Fraulein Schneider and Herr Schultz.

  • Excellent performance, and I am glad that the audience goes silent after he MC delivers the "punchline", since that is the whole point of the song -- to make the audience laugh and then be horrified by the ethnic/racial hatred of the Nazis that the MC implcitly refers to.

  • I really hope the audience knew that the song was originally in the context of Germany in 1931. I could hear everyone go silent at the last line.
