The Royal Norwegian Navy frigate KNM Fridtjof Nansen fires an RIM-162 Evolved Sea Sparrow missile at a Banshee drone during a live fire exercise.

Visby klassen. Det er dog corvetter, mindre skip enn fragtter. Svenskene har såvidt jeg vet ikke fregatter. Vår motpart til deres visby klasse ville vel bli skjold klassen. Dette er et stealth skip, likesom visby.

The ships will also be equipped with, NSM (Naval Strike Missile) produced by Kongsberg Defence and aerospace.

- Mk 41 VLS for missiler
- RIM-162 ESSM SAM
- NSM (Naval Strike Missile)
- 1 x 76 mm OTO Melara Super Rapid kanon
- 4 x 12,7 mm machine guns
- Sting Ray torpedoes
- Submarine mines

The long range anti air missile programm is not ready yet,so its either frigate remote CAP or sm2.
