Police shooting = cold blooded murder

Are tensions between police and the immigrant community on the rise? An LAPD bicycle officer shot and killed a drunken day laborer when he wielded a knife, protests have broken out and police department leadership has promised to investigate. Immigration activist Ron Gochez said such incidents are unfortunately too normal is US police departments and that police leadership should not justify them. The community has a right to stand up and defend its rights as a community. Gochez said the incident was cold blooded murder and that he had heard there may not have been a knife present.

I am so sick of all this racist, police are unfair, Ron Gochez like "community leaders" crying about being wronged in one way or another. I was first made aware of Mr Gochez some time ago and started reading up on him. It seems he is more well known for stirring up the racial pot and crying about unfair practices thus bringing harsh criticism from many, even people from the "community" he claims to represent.

@CenturionRudy its like any situation, people see different things and will be convinced of details that are not really true. i had a teacher hire a guy to dress like a homless man and come in the room. he spent about 30 seconds yelling and trying to steal the trashcan. after this was over, our teacher told us all to describe him in detail on paper without talking to anyone else. the outcome was amazing, people said he had a brown shirt when it was black and etc etc. so, a knife? sure.

The cop that killed Oscar Grant, the cop was found guilty and is waiting sentencing the cop did not get away with it. It has taken some time but it always takes time for a trial.

Ron Gochez is a DF for mistating the facts. By the way, there were several other witnesses, who stated Jamines was armed with a knife. Also, UCLA students usually aren't walking around drunk attempting to STAB/SLASH citizens on the street with a knife. Jamines WASN"T shot because he was DRUNK, he was shot because he made an agressive move with the knife that cause the Officer to fear Great Bodily Injury and/or Death from Jamines. Ron Gochez is a major PENDEJO.
