Breeze & Micah, both puppy mill rescued dogs afraid of their shadows and everything else not long ago.. this clip is taking them to a extrodinarily overwhelming situation full of sounds, movement, people, dogs, smeslls and they "coped".. We are so proud of them. Both really need a forever home with someone to love them forever.

  • You have done such fabulous work! I wish my facility was complete, I'd take them both! We will follow your work closely and would love to join the effort this summer! Renee & Sara, Reining Cats & Dogs

  • Again my sincere thanks to you ReneesDog13 ! Actually, in retrospect this particular clip taught me that Micah wasn't yet ready for this day. Breeze was, so that is good. It set Micah back a bit. He's better now but took a couple of weeks to get back on track. Good luck in your exciting new facility!

  • Hey Carolyn, that was great, and really interesting.

Both of them did way better in such a chaotic atmosphere than my pampered dogs would have done! And I'm quite sure there is a big smile on both of their faces at the end when they're laying there on the grass -- what fantastic work you've done (and are doing!).

    Thx for sharing.

  • Thanks Marg, This was tougher for Micah than i had hoped and probably too soon. He did bounce back once home. It was a stressful day for both. Not sure I should have done it to them. But thanks for watching and for your as always kind comments and encouragement.

  • Great job Carolyn !!!!!!!!

  • Thanks you ! In retrospect this was probably too much for the dogs - but no bad behaviors once back home. Hope Bella is doing well and expect that she is!

  • a lot late in my reply but thanks just the same . I would encourage you to foster if you really have that desire. So many dogs out there need that foster home!! Either way, adoption or fostering I bet would make Sadie a bit more happy to have the companionship and fun with another dog in the home. Again thanks and sorry for tardy response

  • Love the videos of Breeze and Micah. They are doing so well. We also rescued an Aussie from a high kill shelter in Ohio. She is blind, and was very very very fearful of everything. Fortunately, she came out of it fairly quickly. Its been 18 months, as we still have some scarey times, but she keeps improving. Check out our videos at the dog beach. Don't you just love Aussies?
