After selling the Porsche 914 I restored, I purchased this VW Bus from a guy out in Salem Oregon to start yet another restoration project.

  • want to sell it?

  • @mrverdes When I finish it I intend to sell it but im going to enjoy it first.

  • Gotta learn how to get all the angle you can out of that drive way!

  • @Silvermannnnnn The backing up part and scraping the bumper was for the dramatic effect, I knew it wouldn't go straight up like that, even on angle that back bumper is just way too low. Once the air ride is done and im in my new shop, I'll never have to worry about steep driveways..lol

  • Make it a panel again

  • @eams1er I intend to!

  • That bus is sick dude !!!

  • @earlyvwfanatic 205/40 R17, the rear has been converted to a using a1971 IRS suspension, and the inside has been widened & tubbed out to allow the wheels to fit up inside the wheel arches. On the front I am utilizing a 9" narrowed front beam (mounted inside the frame rails.

  • @a914freak what size tires are you running? Are you running narrowed torsion housing in the rear to fit these in the wheel well?

  • @earlyvwfanatic yes they are 17" Fuchs

  • Are those the 17" Fuchs?
