TechCrunch never had integrity.
Michael Arrington has always used any means necessary to draw traffic to his site.
I know this from experience as a top user on digg, that webtech (Orli Yakuel of Go2Web 20) not only submits all of his biggest link baiting posts, but also sends out emails to over 100 people, begging for diggs irregardless of the quality of the content.
