@truemirror Hi, You just pull the supporting poles out of the ground and take it home. I put my little one I managed to make behind the hedgehog house to protect it from the elements.

@eccentricoldcow ty, I am growing all kinds of willow, but I have to WAIT for another year, I'm so excited at the prospects of growing my own edging and privacy fence and of course living tunnels and play house for my grandson!! I've already looked at all the willow plants and have planned how I will cut each one.. it's killing me waiting for them to grow and waiting until the right time of year to prune and plant some more!! grrr.

@truemirror Ah yes gardening is a slooow process I'm afraid, but it's so exciting. Especially the Spring when all the little shoots start to appear. That sounds such a fantastic idea, growing your own hedging, my word!
Where abouts do you live, in the UK ?
Willow is dead easy to get growing. It will root in water. Good luck to you and let me know how it alll goes. :)

@eccentricoldcow I'm in eastern usa, I'm sure my nieghbors won't appreciate my future willow fences as much as one would in the Uk, but I think they are beautiful.

@truemirror Sorry cant hlep you on the main poles, I just went along to a free 1 day course with Natural England. Great fun. It would be best to get a book on the subject or look up on the net to get all the info you need tm. see if there's a local group in your area. Try libraries etc Be great to see a video or pic of your work when you can. Best of luck
