  • Really well performed, really well-rehearsed, talented kids... but did the director or choreographer have ANY original ideas? I mean, c'mon... anyone can just steal the Broadway choreography and staging.

  • @acewpk Point taken. It's true that anyone can just take the choreography and staging, but the fact that high schoolers were able to pull it off: that's where talent comes in.

  • Good choreography and really well performed but the chorus has a chance to be so much stronger! otherwise great job! :)

  • OMG <3

  • @actorsAREpeopleTOO Oh, sure, for the kids, the talent comes in performance, and these are really talented, well-rehearsed kids. Prepping the kids is something the director here did well. But speaking as a theater educator, copying the Broadway staging sets an awful example to any future directors or choreographers in this company of young artists. It gives the implication that it's OK to steal another artist's work, which it isn't. To me it's a form of plagiarism, unacceptable at any level.
