@ataas obviously you see the world around you but chose to close your eyes when you see something that does not agree with your worldview. Apes CAN speak (they can be taught quite advanced sign language. Or are you saying that deaf people are apes because they only use sign language as well?). They do show symphathy and if you sign that you are sad to an ape that understands sign language, it will reply that it feels sad for you and show empathy. There is nothing unique about man.

@mjohanss1975 Why are you not the least bit attracted to monkey then? (different creation)... Why can't you go talk to a monkey about how your day went and expect sympathy (It was not taught language)... Why don't you give a monkey a nagvigation and expect it to come down your house (does not have the same intellect)... If a monkey jumped on your back would you say to it, You Bad Monkey don't you know not to do that. (Was not given free will)

@mjohanss1975 Evolution is a theory & there are other scientific theories to go against that theory. You can't have two scientific facts that contradict each-other ! Quran explicitally says Man was created (Adam). We have similar attributes to monkeys, which should show that it is from the same creator., but the Quran itself says why Man is different... Man was taught language, was given knowledge & intellect different to any other creation, Free-will, the list goes on...

@mjohanss1975 You yourself questioned Why were woman's lusts so different to men. There will be mates alligned for woman, no doub; woman have a different desiring nature from men, and unless you are a woman yourself, you won't understand what that is. Woman have a more emotional nature than men their needs are different, God knows best. & Islam gives woman their due right, it teaches to treat woman with gentleness & the Quran describes Man like a garment for the Woman, vice versa.

@ataas Another thing is: how can you combine your faith with evolution? Evolution is a proven fact. The word "theory" is used in its scientific sense and you would have to understand the concept of scientific fact to understand that what scientists call theories are really facts in every way that counts. So why does the Quran say nothing about Adam and Eve being apes? Let's disregard the lack of evidence int he Quran for a moment. How does the Quran disprove man evolving from apes?

@ataas You still have not sold heaven to women. Women are sexual creatures, just like men, with sexual desires, just like men. Why is it that women should be sold on an idea that is far more advantageous to men? And why does God hate women so much? Is God a closeted gay man, with so much hatred about his own sexuality that he takes his hatred out on women? What exactly is God's problem with women?

@mjohanss1975 Re-evaluate our civilised chat history : -)... You've ingored all the signs (blessings) given, and probability itself proves it can't be an accident, now you're at the point when you're calling it a fairy-tale. Please be open-minded about these issues. At least think it from the point of view "Maybe there is a God, does it answer all my questions?". Then do your own research. I can-not force your to do something. Man has been given free will, accountable for yourself.

@mjohanss1975 The environment is different. God's blessing to man (ie. sexual pleaure) will still remain... ur question as to why are woman's lusts & desires slightly different to man? God created woman this way. Another blessing, that Man is not equal to Woman in terms of actions. Woman are more emotional than men. And no-one will be jealous of another in heaven. Everyone will be satasfied. There is more to heaven than just 72 virgins.

@ataas I'm sorry but this all sounds like a fairy tale told to the masses to better control them. A leader says "I obey God and if you obey me, then you indirectly obey God as well". What will my reward be, people will naturally ask. "Well, if you obey God (and me) then you will receive great rewards in the afterlife (good way to avoid having to give anything in this life) and you will also receive dominion over women in this life and the next." Only losers in that equation are the women.

@ataas if the environment in heaven is not the same then why are the lusts of men in heaven still the same? And why are the lusts of women so different? Women on earth is not satisfied with a man who also has 71 other wifes. If mens needs are the same in heaven as on earth, why would womens needs be different in heaven than on earth? And why does not women get 72 handsome men? Why is she still stuck with the same man she had on earth and now also has to share with 72 other women?
