VICIOUS, Un-provoked cat attack!

The Nugget and I got into an altercation today. He does not appreciate the things we do for him, like feed him, give him shelter, and allow him to live. He repays me by unleashing a fury that which the world has never seen.

If anyone can offer advice, it's greatly needed. I have a 2 yr old cat (got him when he was 8 weeks) who howls and stalks me. I back away but he keeps coming and visciously scratches me. This is nothing compared to what I went through. It's happened 3 times. He's even attacked my dog for being in his way of me. What's his deal? He sleeps w/ me, purrs, licks me, squints at me. Why does he do this. He only does it to me that jerk. It's really affecting me to the point of me be unable to trust him.

@Dhoketa Try playing with him more. Get one of those toys that's a stick with a rope and a toy bird, feather or mouse on the end.  Run him around for 15 minutes at least every day. Search google for Jackson Galaxy My Cat From Hell. He has good tips.

lol my cat does that too. He'll just grab hold of my hand and bite the crap out of it for no reason. My favorite is when I'm just walking around the house and he runs up and bites my leg. Funny thing is, I call him Little Nugget too :P Or Little man. :P Silly catlette!
