Its not going to give us as huge of an advantage as everyone thinks when it comes to weather. In normal winter weather, the average high in November is 32 (the average high in January in the twin cities isn't even around 2), and 49 in October. When an El Nino forms (as it has this year), in can stay well into the 40s all the way to the end of December (like 2006). November also isn't known for snow like March is. Virtually every other big 10 team will face the same conditions.

The Gophers are going to have one hell of a home field advantage for those November games. What is it like 2 degrees average there in Nov.? Lots of home wins for you guys that time of year.

I agree with all of you. I can't think of a better way to spend my 30th birthday than at the season opener!!! Go Gophers!!!

what a gread video! take note potential gopher recruits! the U will be a special place to be apart!
well, even us gopher fans in Ohio are getting so excited for the team and this new stadium. i hope the crowds bring a new energy and enthusiasm to the games and i think that is going to happen. that doesn't mean it's going to be any easier to beat Texas or USC, but every little bit helps. go golden gophers!
