You have stumbled upon an old problem in Philosophy that has since been solved by modern medicine. The problem was called the "Mind-Body Problem."

We now know that the mind is contingent upon the body. When the body ceases to function, there's no mind.

If mind is separate from the body, then a doctor could not put you out for surgery. This is very simple, no one needs a Ph.D. to figure this out.

I don't know if the exact percentage of american believe this in relation to 10,000 years but not only is the Earth quite a bit older than ten thousand years and it can be demosntraighted with physicaly relatable argumants, adding events up and just the amount of stuff that would have to happen but you can believe Earth is just over 10,000 years old and still be a Young Earth Creationist.

The characterisation of evolution as a fary tale not only misunderstands what the whole thing is about but it causes bigger problems and teaches people to come to quick judjments about new ideas, you don't have to indorse an idea to be open to any evidence that it presents. Saying you were not there or can it be tested to that standard causes so many metaphysical problems that it would cause an observational pardox or many.

If people want to increase in sexual or other sins wether because of evolution or not is their problem and altimatly has no effect on wether something is true or not if people that believed in gravity, atoms, the structuring of the planets starting commiting every crime possible that would not effect wether these things happen. I do agree people should have the attitude they exist and are going to make the best of their life wether they were born from a moral union or not.
