The reason I say this is that MLS teams not succeeding in this tournament makes it look bad. The league could have done better to schedule games for their teams that qualified for this competition.

One can look at how CD Guadalajara had Primera Division's support when it came to their participation in the Copa Libertadoers semi finals and finals by postponing games for the Chivas and having the final in Azteca. Mexican soccer fans want to see their teams do good abroad.

i would like to add that MLS needs to promote and prioritize international competitions like the CONCACAF Champions League.

I had to suffer watching Galaxy lose at home to the Puerto Rico's Islanders in a horrible game. That week, the Galaxy and some of its players had to play 2-3 other games to include the MLS All-Stars vs Man-U which was the very next game in which Donovan needed to play. The Galaxy also played without Rickets. The promotion to fans for this game was horrible...
